St. Edward Volunteer Fire Department firefighters Paul Forinash and Travis Claussen joined other area Task Force members to battle the Log Road Fire east of Harrison, Nebraska in Sioux County.

The fire, which was first spotted on June 30, burned approximately 1,525 acres before being contained. It’s believed that lightning was the cause of the burn.
