Albion Fire & Rescue will host its annual Mini Fire School training event this Friday and Saturday, Aug. 9 and 10, at the local fire station.

All fire and rescue personnel from local and area departments are invited to participate.

On Friday evening, a course in fire theory will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the meeting room.

Outdoor courses are planned Saturday, Aug. 10, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fire fighting courses will included Hoses and Laders, and Search and Rescue.

EMS training courses starting at 9 a.m. will include Sports Injuriesand Mental Health.

Fire training is taught by the State Fire Marshal’s Training Division. EMS courses are taught by Central Community College.
