Boone County’s annual Spelling Contest for fifth through eighth graders is scheduled today Wednesday, Jan. 24, starting at 1 p.m. in the Boone Central Performance Gym.All Boone County schools have been invited to send their best student spellers for the competition.The winner will qualify to compete in the annual Midwest Spelling Bee in Omaha....
