At 2:00 p.m. Monday afternoon it was noted a grass fire had started north of Four Corners west in the Bartlett area.

Two Petersburg firemen with equipment went out, a while later more equipment was requested, and two grass rigs and a water tender were sent, shortly after that a request was received to send everything the department had.
