Cornhusker Power Goodwill Fund trustees recently awarded $5,425 to 18 area organizations.

Among the recipients were three organizations in the Boone County area.

• St. Edward Fire and Rescue Department received $450 for rechargeable flashlights.

• Belgrade Volunteer Fire Department received $750 for SCBA air packs.
