Fina Choat graduates with veterinary degree

Body Fina Choat of St. Edward was among more than 4,450 graduates received degrees from Iowa State University this spring. Graduate and undergraduate commencement ceremonies were held May 9-11 at Hilton Coliseum, Aims, IA.

May rainfall sets 10-year record

Body Weather observer Steve Wright reported that May 2024 rainfall in Albion set a 10-year record at 6.6 inches. This was the highest May rainfall since 2014. May rainfall has exceeded six inches one other time in that 10-year period, but the total was still less than 6.6 inches.
