Lawrence “Larry” Williamson, 84, passed away in Perryton, TX on Dec. 15, 2023.

Larry attended Newman Grove High School, class of 1957. He married Villa Catron in 1963.

Larry raised his four children in Albion and Columbus in Nebraska. Larry worked for Christenson Construction before moving to Rocky Ford, CO in 1973 working for Foxley Cattle Company and then moving to Texas where he was the mill maintenance manager for Cactus Feeders for several years before retiring in 2015. Larry enjoyed hunting, cutting wood, fishing at Gunnison with friends and family. He also loved gardening and giving the produce away to all who wanted. Larry is survived by his wife Villa and four children: James, Jeff, Jennifer and Jacqueline, 22 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and many others who loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Lillian Williamson.

Larry’s Celebration of Life will be held at the Cole Community Center located at 306 16th Street in Canyon, TX on Friday, May 31, 2024 at 12 p.m. Family and friends are invited to join. In lieu of flowers, any donations can be made to Ochiltree Hospice Volunteers at 3101 Garrett Drive, Perryton, TX 79070.

Larry will be missed by all who knew him.
