After sending out an appeal last month, the Mid-Nebraska Lutheran Home and Newman House in Newman Grove announced this week that nearly $131,000 in donations have been received.

The total of $130,920 was reached on Monday, May 6, and about 110 donors had contributed as of that date. Initial goal of the drive was $80,000.
