After a hot start to the season last week, the Boone Central girls basketball team ran into a buzzsaw of tough competition against undefeated teams this past week.

The Lady Cardinals took a 56-40 home court loss to 10th rated Crofton last Tuesday, and lost on the road, 48-32, to 12th ranked Central City on Thursday night.
