After an impressive run at the holiday tournament to close out 2024, the Boone Central Cardinals (3-4) were back in action to start a new year.

They traveled to St. Paul to take on the Wildcats (4-4) on Friday and came away with the win 61-50.

They then hosted Pierce (3-5) in a makeup game from mid-December and took the victory 51-46 to complete the opening week sweep.
