The Newman Grove/St. Edward Panthers basketball team started out the season on rough ground last week, falling in their first two games by less than 10 in both contests.

The Panthers will face Guardian Angels CC on Dec. 9 on the road, host Palmer on Dec. 12, travel to Madison on Dec. 13, and then Winside on Dec. 16 and Burwell on Dec. 19 for a full few weeks before the holiday break.
