Representing Newman Grove/St. Edward’s bowling team, Serenity Strong won sixth-place at the Class B Girls State bowling tournament in Lincoln this past Monday.

Strong competed in the individual part of the tournament on Monday, Feb. 9.

She faced off against Megan Erdkamp of Elkhorn in the ifrst round, falling 340-292.

Strong bowled games of 137 and 155. Erdkamp rolled a 202 and 138.
