Boone County 4-H families enjoyed an ice cream social, compliments of the Boone County 4-H Council at the Annual 4-H Achievement Party held on Sunday, Oct. 20, at the Boone County Fairgrounds in Albion, said Steve Pritchard, Extension educator in Boone and Nance Counties.

Boone County will celebrate its 11th giving week December 2-7th, 2024. During this time, 37 local charitable organizations will be raising awareness and funds to support initiatives that benefit area residents and visitors.

Madison Gompert, a student at Boone Central High School, has been selected as a member of the 2024 Nebraska All-State Chorus as a Soprano II. She will be participating Wednesday through Friday, Nov.
