Watch for a major increase in Boone County’s property valuations this year. Preliminary valuation figures announced Monday indicate a total valuation increase of about 26 percent or $663 million for the county as a whole.

St. Michael’s School in Albion is having registration and enrollment verification for the 24/25 school year on Wednesday, August 7th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Rev. Matthew Gutowski arrived in this area in mid-June, and he is serving three Catholic churches in-Boone County - St. Michael’s in Albion, St. Edward in St. Edward, and St. Anthony’s in Cedar Rapids.
