Body

Life insurance for the firemen and rescue personnel was discussed at the June 4, 2024 Petersburg Village Board meeting

Currently coverage is at $10,000. Some towns are increasing that amount to encourage more volunteers.

Petersburg, at this point, has a waiting list for the fire department.

Due to the absence of board members Koch and Thieman, the issue was tabled

Kevin McGuire, Great Plains Communications representative, was present to discuss the proposed fiber optic internet which they will be installing.
