With the cool fall air moving in and the leaves beginning to turn, the golf season is definitely on the back nine. Last week, the Cardinals had back-toback meets.
Cornerstone Bank, in partnership with the Nebraska Council on Economic Education, has announced the opening of a new In-School Savings Bank (ISSB) at Boone Central Elementary School. The student-run bank will be known as the Cardinal Branch of Cornerstone Bank.
Boone Central TeamMates is a school club that currently has 72 Mentor/ Mentee matches. The pairs meet at school once a week during the school day during the school year. Teammates was founded by Dr. Tom and Nancy Osborne in1991, this the 25th year at Boone Central. Teammates would like to thank Pillens for the burger meat and to other individuals and businesses who made the Burger Bash a success. The Newman Grove-St. Edward Panthers played in two games since last report, falling to David City, 498, and Humphrey-Lindsay, 38-24, as the team narrows down on the end of the season with just three games left.
