Jeffrey “Jeff” Moore Dahlgren of Phoenix AZ, 61, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2023, at the Honor Health John C. Lincoln Medical Center.

Jeffrey was born on Feb. 23, 1962, in Omaha. He was the son of the late Inez L. Dahlgren and Gordon E. Dahlgren.

Jeff attended Fargo South High School and graduated from Woodrow Wilson in Fargo, ND in 1980. Jeff played hockey during his youth on traveling teams and was also a member of the school hockey team while he attended Fargo South High School. Jeff explored college briefly and then settled for a time in Southern California pursuing real estate development and finance. He eventually moved into the technical world of computing, after moving to Phoenix, AZ, and subsequently became Microsoft Certified.

He spent most of his working adult life as a network engineer/web development consultant in the greater Phoenix area and spent time traveling whenever possible. In his spare time, he enjoyed community theater and was cast in what he deemed his greatest role as Caiaphas with the Fountain Hills Community Theater in the Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice production of Jesus Christ Superstar in 2000.

He is survived by his daughter Abigail Naranjo Dahlgren of Tempe, AZ, sister Jennifer Johnson and brother-in-law, Jerry Johnson of Lincoln, CA, two nieces: Stephanie Johnson and Andrea Johnson of Santa Barbara, CA, nephew Ryan Johnson of Rocklin, CA, along with many first and second cousins.

Memorial services will be on Monday, May 20, 2024 at 10:30 a.m., at the Levander Funeral Home in Albion. A luncheon to follow at the Cardinal Inn in Albion.
