Marilyn Ann Nauenburg, 76, of Albion, formerly of Cedar Rapids, passed away Monday, April 8, 2024, at the Good Samaritan Society in Albion.

Marilyn was born June 15, 1947 to Frank and Charlotte (Boardman) Nauenburg in Grand Island. She attended country school at District 29 and graduated from Belgrade High School in 1965. She lived most of her life on the family farm south of Cedar Rapids. She nannied for Pastor Reimer’s children for many years, along with other neighbors’ children. In 2015, after her brother, Gary, passed, she moved to Cedar Rapids and later Albion. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids. She loved all animals, especially her dog, Lacy. She also loved flowers, reading, and walking. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Gary, many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids with Reverend Brian Ketelsen officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Main Cemetery in Belgrade.
