The Ag Appreciation Breakfast was discussed at the Petersburg Community Club meeting held Monday, March 4, 2024. It is to be held at the fire hall from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.

The first shift will begin at 8 a.m. A sign-up sheet has been placed in Rae Valley Market. Volunteers are needed. The Petersburg Village Board board has scheduled a residents’ dog vaccination with reduced prices during that time, also in the fire hall.

Kay Preister, Easter committee, stated the Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled for March 30th in the Petersburg Park. In case of inclement weather, it could be held in The Village Campus.

A park clean-up is scheduled for March 27 at 6 p.m. Volunteer held will be needed.

Emily Jacobson gave an update on the Big Give project of renovating the park bathrooms. Hopefully, the epoxy can be applied to the restroom floors the first week of April. Temperatures must be at least 45 degrees for several days.

Someone has donated toilets and one baby changing station has been donated. The club will order another one. A first aid kit will be ordered and should arrive before Bran.

Tina Stokes said Bran riders are expected to arrive at approximately 3 p.m. on June 5. The club will plan a lighter meal beginning at noon. Activities are also in the planning stage. Riders expect to depart at around 8 a.m. on June 6. Bran coordinators may visit in March to discuss scheduling.

No meetings have been held by the carnival committee, but any new ideas would be welcomed.

President Koch mentioned several blue banners are ripped. She will check if there are any extra.

Next meeting will be April 1 at 7 p.m.
