Out of 54 students in the Boone Central 2024 senior class, 47 applied for local scholarships to continue their education.

Of those 47, 38 of them (or 81%) received at least one local scholarship for a grand total of more than $84,000 in scholarships awarded from the local area community, according to Leanne Blanchard, high school counselor.
