Competition ramped up at the Fullerton Invitational April 2, the the Riverside Chargers did more than keep pace.

In stout boys and girls competition, the Riverside boys were runner-up to team champion High Plains. The Lady Chargers placed a competitive fifth in an 11-team field wpaced by Shelby-Rising City.

Riverside again boasted some athletes with banner performances.
