Body The Albion Seniors were back in action last week with a long road stand cut a little short by weather. Their first match found them in Ord on Wednesday Jun 26th. The Cardinals were a little shaky in the first but got things back on track enroute to a 5-2 victory.

Body Two Newman Grove 4-H membes were among the top senior division places in the Madison County shooting sports competition held Saturday, June 8, at the Norfolk Archery Club. Ten youth competed.

Body The Albion Legion Seniors got the bats going early and stifled the offense of PWG to secure 3-2 victory on the road on Sunday, June 2nd. Caden Stokes (SS) cracked a double on the first at bat of the game to get a runner aboard to lead things off for the Cardinals.

Body Four Boone Central athletes played key roles in the White Team’s 24-17 victory over the Red squad in the Northeeast Nebraska All-Star Football Classic played at Norfolk last Saturday, June 8.

Body The Albion Junior Legion Post 162 baseball team had a four-game homestead this previous week. It was a great opportunity to get some games in and face great competition.
