The Boone Central Girls Golf Team most recently competed at the Lakeview Invite on Thursday, September 12 at Quail Run Golf Course. The Cardinal team finished in 7th place with a 476.

The Knights of Norfolk Catholic were waiting for this week’s matchup with great anticipation. The two teams met Thursday September 5th for the first time in three years when this year’s seniors were only freshman.

The Boone Central volleyball teams looked to continue their hot start of 10 straight winning sets heading into the week, but West Point-Beemer had other plans. The Cadets handed the Cards their first loss of the season on Tuesday.

The Boone Central Cardinal Cross Country team hosted its home invitational last weekend, with eight other teams running along. The Cardinal men’s runners were led by Logan spence with a time of 17:38.6 and a field placement of 8th.

The Boone Central Lady Cardinal Girls golf team traveled to Atkinson-Stuart Country Club for the West Holt Girls golf invitational over the weekend. “What an awesome day on the golf course! This group stayed patient today, taking it one hole, one shot at a time,” said Coach Amy Allgood.
