Body The Boone Central 7th/8th Grade band competed in the 44th annual Lions Club Parade on Saturday, September 21st. This was the first marching experience for any of these students, as last year’s parade was cancelled due to weather conditions.

Body Boone County Health Center held a tailgating event last week on Wednesday to celebrate their recent national awards and achievements and to sharea meal with community members.

Body Above and below: a few pictures from the Freedom Walk held on Sunday, Sept 15 at Fuller Park in remembrance of Patriots Day Sept 11. The Honor Guard led the walkers to the Good Samaritan Home where they stopped to recite the Pledge of Allegiance and sing the National Anthem.

Body Produce and products of all kinds will be featured at a downtown farmers market in Albion on Saturday, Sept. 7.

Body Delayed. The carnival was held only Tuesday and Wednesday due to the damp conditions on Monday.

Body Some 35 bullriders from Nebraska and seven other states competed in the 29th annual Gateway to the Sandhills Bullride at the Niewohner Arena in Albion last Saturday night, March 16.
