Body Boone Central teams were primed and ready to host the B-4 District track/field championships last Tuesday. And, for the first time in school history, both the boys and girls teams left the event as champions, holding off very talented teams from Blair by less than ten points each.

Teen’s death reported at hog confinement

Body A death of not-yet-determined causes was reported via 911 call Monday, April 1, at 11:30 a.m. to the Boone County Sheriff’s office. The caller stated a 17-year-old juvenile was unresponsive at a hog confinement west of St. Edward.

Body Superintendent of Schools Jeff Schwartz announced Monday morning he will be leaving Boone Central Schools at the end of the current school year in June 2024.
