Tallgrass Energy recently received permission from the federal government to convert its existing Trailblazer pipeline, which currently carries methane gas across Nebraska, Colorado and Wyoming, into a carbon dioxide (C02) pipeline.

Newman Grove resident Elliott Broberg (center) was honored last week as a 70-year member of American Legion Post 73, Newman Grove. He was presented a 70-year membership certificate and pin by Commander Ivan Herchenbach and Treasurer and Former Adjutant Ray Flood.

Newman Grove Public Schools will have a half day of school for students on Wednesday, Feb. 7, with dismissal at 1 p.m.
