Boone Central boy’s basketball team (1-2) had another rough week coming off their promising win over Central City. Facing two tough teams from Class C2, the Cardinals couldn’t put enough points on the board to score victories.

Boone Central boys wrestling team defeated Filmore Central but lost to York in a home triangular last Thursday, Dec. 19.

Boone Central’s freshman-sophomore boys basketball game picked up a victory at Central City on Thursday, Dec. 19, defeating the Bison 9-10 team 41-34.

There are times when one gets really busy that it’s always been a trick to just stop and take a breath and decide what the next move might be. At my age, that often times leads to a “mid-life crisis” where you begin to second guess yourself, or perhaps wish for something you wanted, but chose something different, or just flat out up-end your life and do something differently.

Boone Central boys and girls wrestling continued their 2024-25 season on Tuesday, Dec. 10, as they traveled to West Point for a dual match.
