Missoula Theatre to start auditions on June 15

The Albion Area Arts Council has continued plans to welcome the Missoula Children’s Theatre back to Albion June 15–20 with this year’s production of “The Emperor’s New Clothes!” All students who have completed Kindergarten through the 12th grade are invited to audition and participate in the week-long theatre training and play at the end of the week with a number of performances. “With 50–60 roles available, this is a wonderful opportunity for local youth to gain confidence, make new friends, and experience the magic of live theatre!” Auditions will be held on Monday, June 15, with registration starting at 11:30 a.m.

Koeppen racks up the mileage

Colin Koeppen of Albion, who turned 81 years of age on his last birthday, has walked the Boone County Trails System, which he refers to as the “trail” 2000 times plus a trip around the park. That adds up to 3500 miles.
Colin Koeppen marked his 2,000th lap this past week.
