Body The Boone County Raceway finished up a Championship night last week, skirting the weather again as the season draws to a close in the next month or so.

Body Sunday, August 15 was a good day at the 5th annual Duane Childers and Marv Koch Memorial Trap Shoot competition at the Antelope County Shooters Trap Range, Neligh. A reported 60 shooters engaged in the competition with over 100 in attendance.

Body On August 6 Leialoha Barnes, or Kayda Cruz to the acting industry, returned from a six week session at New York’s top acting studio, Micheal Howard Studios.

Body Petersburg native, Larry Petsche has always had an interest in farm equipment and that interest sparked a show that will celebrate its 44th anniversary this year. Rae Valley Days started as a threshing event that was part of the Petersburg Church Bazaar.

Body The last of the three sessions of Art Camp 2026 with 3rd to 5th grade students was held at the studio of Jerene Kruse during the last week of July. The group “traveled” to Asia, Africa, Canada and Mexico.

Body The Primrose Rural Volunteer Fire Department District # 5, sponsored its 9th Annual Car Show on Sunday, August 9th. The show brought in 56 entries. “Awesome entries, awesome food, awesome crowd.” All proceeds went towards the Primrose Fire Department
