The Ride to Remember poker run held by Fire & Iron MC Station 102 started in Newman Grove then they went to Spalding, Ericson, Four Corners, Petersburg and then headed back to South Side Lounge in Newman Grove. There was a meal available, and a live benefit auction was held. (Pictures were taken by Angie Frey)

The Newman Grove Red Cross blood drive was held on August 19, 2024, at Fellowship Bible Church. The group reported had 62 donors collecting 62 units of blood with a goal of 59.

Newman Grove American Legion Post 73 will be hosting their seventh annual “Pullin’ for Patriots’ event on Sunday, Sept. 8, at football field in Newman Grove.

Reminder from the Newman Grove Tree Board: Citizens of Newman Grove have until September 30th to enter the tree grant drawing. Four $100.00 grants will be given.

Eight new benches were installed in the Newman Grove park areas with the Newman Grove Community Foundation helping with costs of $5,000. The benches have cutouts for local historical dates, and on the back have information about the community as well.
