Newman Grove

The Newman Grove/St. Edward Panther track teams finished out their season at the NSAA C-5 District Tournament in David City’s Aquinas High School last week, with one Panther pulling out all the stops and qualifying for State.

Micah Cuevas of Newman Grove/St. Edward recently competed in the Central Nebraska Track Championships in Grand Island.

The swimming pool in Newman Grove is being given much needed repairs. It has had a slow leak for some time and some of the jets and gutters were plugged.

Newman Grove Tree Board celebrated Arbor Day with the Newman Grove Elementary School. On Thursday, April 24, the preschool through 4th grade students received a book and activities for their classrooms. The 4th through 6th grade students each were given a tree sapling. On Friday, April 25, Arbor Day the 5th and 6th grade students helped plant a memorial tree in the memory of Robert Flood in the mini park.
