Scholl named “Driver of the Year”

Body
Jerel Scholl, a dedicated professional truck driver for C.R. England, was named the company’s 2024 Driver of the Year. Scholl earned the prestigious honor by demonstrating an outstanding safety record, consistent on-time performance, and a commitment to excellence that exceeds company standards. Scholl was selected out of more than 4,000 drivers across the company for this honor. Juli Murray, Scholl’s driver manager, praised his contributions to the team. “He’s a mentor in our fleet,” she said. “I know other drivers are also learning from Jerel. If C.R. England had a fleet of Jerels, we wouldn’t have near the problems that we have. This man’s amazing, and I just really appreciate him and everything he does for our fleet.” During his time with C.R. England, Scholl has driven through every state in the continental U.S. except Maine. As a special honor, he will represent C.R. England this December by transporting Christmas wreaths from Maine to Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia, an opportunity typically reserved for the company’s executive leadership. As part of the award, Scholl will also receive a $1,000 bonus, company-wide recognition, and additional gifts.
