Edge of winter storm brings strong winds

Body
The threat of a strong winter storm closed businesses and schools throughout Nebraska last week, and while the snow didn’t accumulate as much as feared (or perhaps hoped), high winds tore down power lines and especially trees in Albion and around the area, and the storm hit particularly hard to the southeast. Many readers called in downed trees and Cornhusker Power is still battling power outages, as well as southwest toward York.
