I’ve had a very not-sosubtle bad attitude growing about federal holidays for quite some time.

It’s mainly got to do with the fact that it really seems like most of them are planned during the hottest parts of the year not only here, but historically, wherever you’d want to go from here - but also because newspapering rarely allows for any type of break or observance.
