There’s a fun old saying from people that “used to be” scared of the Fourth Estate – your newspaper.

“Never argue with a man [or woman, 2024 edit] that buys ink by the barrel,” generally attributed to Attorney Roger Branigin of Indiana.

While that used to be somewhat of a veiled threat about the power of the Press, I will tell you now, I still like to use the quote, but in a much different context.
