A good friend of mine celebrated his 70th birthday this week, so he planned a golf outing in Lincoln with many participants.

We called it “geezer golf.”

It was a lot of fun with cooler conditions in the morning, but there was a heat index of well over 100 degrees in the afternoon took some of the fun away.

Fortunately, we didn’t have any heat stroke victims.
