One of my favorite things to do is visit public libraries.

More new wrinkles arrived on the national scene last weekend when President Joe Biden stepped away from his re-election campaign and endorsed VP Kamala Harris as his choice for the Democratic presidential nominee. We’re learning plenty about that in the state and national news.

What a week. I always thought that with all the nasty rhetoric and name calling and jibes thrown in the last election or two that there would certainly be more crazy folks attempt to take the life of a person wanting to lead our country.

After listening to the presidential debate last Thursday, June 27, I’m more convinced than ever that the American people should have a bona fide third party candidate. But it still won’t happen this year.

Like many of you, I’m sure you’ve had a host of cellular phones. They used to come in all shapes and sizes and even colors if you wanted it - now we’re all stuck with these super computer flat things that cost way too much and break way too easily.
