The Newman Grove-St Edward Panther football team took to the road for a short trip to Humphrey-Lindsay and took on the Bulldogs on their own turf, falling to the home team 26-12 at the end of the final quarter.
Since last report, the Newman Grove-St. Edward Lady Panthers have played against Elba and High Plains, splitting the games, 1-1 at the event on September 24.
Ash Ballentine of Saint Edward is among 200 Husker undergraduates who have been awarded stipends by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to participate in research with a faculty mentor this fall. Ballentine, a senior majoring in history, will participate in the project “Religion, Women and Media: How the IBLP Uses Social Media to Control the Lives of Women” as part of Nebraska’s Undergraduate Creative Activities and Research Experiences Program, which supports undergraduates to work with faculty mentors in research or creative activities.
