Body FEBRUARY, 1984: (continued) PHS was #3 seed in girls district play. Leading the girls were Brenda Spieker, Lori Iburg, Jeanine Ketteler and Brenda Staashelm. The boys were led by Tom Temme, Roger Seier and Jerry Stuhr. Both teams were runners up.

Body As I write this, it’s a little chilly at 34 degrees, so hard to believe it’s time for the spring sports season but here it is. The Boone Central boys golf team is ready to hit the links and see if they have what it takes to qualify several for the state tournament in May.

Body Community residents attended a pancake breaskfast celebrating area agriculture last Saturday in the Petersburg Fire Hall. Making the pancakes were Glenn Meyers and Corey Stokes. Todd Heithoff was pouring batter.

Body Petersburg Community Club will meet on Monday, April 1, 2024 at 7 p.m. at the Petersburg Legion Club.
