Fire Dept. fights southwest of town..

Body August 2nd at 10:16 a.m. the Petersburg Fire Department was notified of a grass fire on the Tom Stevenson property approximately three miles west and three south of Petersburg. A spark from a four-wheeler apparently ignited last year’s tall grass which began to spread.

Foundation Golf Tournament Held

Body On Friday, July 10th, the Antelope County Healthcare Foundation held its 21st Annual Golf Tournament at the Summerland Golf Club. A total of 108 golfers from area communities and businesses participated.

Pictured above: The 1st Place Winner of the Championship Flight was Heritage Bank of Norfolk, consisting of team members (l-r): Callen Marshall, Lance Marshall, Gage Yosten and Jeff Yosten. One hundred and eight golfers from area communities and businesses participated. Proceeds will go towards the healthcare needs of Antelope County.

Library summer reading sets schedule

Power pole struck by storm

Body Sunday evening May 17 at 7:55 p.m. the Petersburg fire department was alerted by a passerby to fire on an electric pole which had been struck by lightning located on Beaver RD and 170 Street west of town.
