After an impressive run at the holiday tournament to close out 2024, the Boone Central Cardinals (3-4) were back in action to start a new year. They traveled to St.

On Friday, Jan. 3, the Boone Central Lady Cardinals wrestling team traveled to a tournament in Winnebago with 37 other teams in attendance.

The Boone Central wrestling team competed today in Newman Grove at the NG/SE Holiday Invitational on Saturday, Dec. 28.

Boone Central boys wrestling hosted four other teams in a duals tournament last Saturday, Dec. 21.

Boone Central’s freshman-sophomore boys basketball game picked up a victory at Central City on Thursday, Dec. 19, defeating the Bison 9-10 team 41-34.

Boone Central boys wrestling team defeated Filmore Central but lost to York in a home triangular last Thursday, Dec. 19.

Boone Central boy’s basketball team (1-2) had another rough week coming off their promising win over Central City. Facing two tough teams from Class C2, the Cardinals couldn’t put enough points on the board to score victories.

After a challenging second week of the season, the Lady Cardinals girls basketball team (2-2) were faced with a short last week of action before the holiday break. They rebounded well from the adversity of week two by topping Lutheran High Northeast on the road 57-25.

Newman Grove/St. Edward Lady Panthers had a rough start to their 2024-25 basketball season with a 0-3 record so far, after three games.

After a rough 0-2 start, the Boone Central boys basketball team was back in action on Dec 12 on the road in Central City against the Bison (2-0). The boys came out strong in this one and took the victory 61-52.
