The Boone Central Cardinal boys’ wrestling team made a short trip to Newman Grove for the 2026 holiday wrestling tournament on December 30, picking up a runner-up title for their efforts. “Team wrestled well in Newman Grove,” said Coach Josh Majerus.

Boone Central hosted the Boone Central Holiday Tourney on December 30th & 31st last week and they did not disappoint. Faced with a good Adams Central team (3-3) in the first round, the Cardinals took care of business and secured the victory, thanks in large part to the terrific play of Miranda McGill and Myah Rankin.
