Boone County Foundation Fund (BCFF), an affiliated fund of the Nebraska Community Foundation, is now accepting grant applications from local non-profit organizations. Applications supporting projects and programs that have a positive impact on quality of life in Boone County will be considered.

A truck driver was injured and his vehicle was considered a total loss after it collided with a cow early Monday morning, March 4, on Highway 32 east of Petersburg. Boone County Sheriff’s office said the accident occurred at about 2:14 a.m.

R Boone County Commissioners meeting opened Monday, March 11, with a presentation from representatives of the Summit Carbon Solutions CO2 pipeline, which is now proposed for construction in Boone County.
