Body The Albion Post #162 Seniors baseball team played in three games, picking up two wins, since last week’s report. The team took wins over DC Post and O’Neill’s Irish, and lost to Platte River.

Cardinal Legends tourney held

Body A special golf tournament was held at the Albion Country Club over the weekend, featuring some alumni golfers in the “Cardinal Legends” event. There were three flights making up the co-ed four player groups.

Juniors, Seniors battle against Rebels and Plainview

Body The Albion Post #162 Seniors took two losses since last report, falling to Plainview and the SOS Rebels in the last week. The team will play on Saturday, June 21 for their next games, a rematch against the Tri-County Titans and against Wagner.

16/18U marked for USSSA tourney...

Body The Albion 16/18U Attack Team will be headed to the USSSA State Tournament next week-end. The team’s first game will be on Friday, June 20 at 3:30 p.m. in the Optimist Youth Sports Complex in Lincoln in pool play against the 17U Furty Gold Kratina team.

Legion Juniors pick up wins over O’Neill and Ord

Body Since last report, the Albion Post #162 boys’ Junior Legion baseball team picked up two more wins – one over Ord and one over O’Neill. The team hosted the Tri-County Titans (Orchard, Verdigre, etc) on Tuesday, June 10, and will play against Plainview on Friday, June 13 at home.
