City residents now have several options for receiving and paying their water/sewer/garbage bills, according to City Clerk Shelbie Schulte. City invoices for these bills are sent the first of every other month during the months of February, April, June, August, October, and December.

The Newman Grove/St. Edward Panther boys basketball team had two games since last report against Elba, coming off a win to take on Grand Island Lutheran and Burwell.

The junior high Panthers basketball team started the second full week of January with another home game against the Palmer Tigers. The Panthers picked up a good head of steam in the first quarter, 120, over Palmer, and led 15-6 heading into the halftime break.
