Body The Boone Central Cardinals and Lady Cardinal wrestling teams hosted the 2026 Dale Bonge wrestling invitational at the local school last weekend, Jan. 31.

Body The Boone Central girls basketball team took their five-game winning streak North to Norfolk Catholic (8-9) on Jan 29th. The Knights proved no match for the Cardinals as they bulldozed their way to a big win to extend their winning streak to six games.

Body Coming off their big win over Wayne last week, the Cardinals may have overlooked their D2 foe GACC (5-7) last Thursday. But this was an opponent whose record did not reflect their best work. They had also recently toppled Wayne and Ponca in recent weeks.

Body Boone Central traveled to West Point last Thursday to dance with Class C2 #1 GACC Bluejays (12-1).

Body The Newman Grove/St. Edward Panther boys basketball team had two games since last report against Elba, coming off a win to take on Grand Island Lutheran and Burwell.
