The Boone Central Boys golf team traveled to the Indianhead Golf Club in Grand Island for the 2026 Class C boys golf tournament this past week for two days of competition against members of 14 other teams.

The Boone Central Cardinals played around weather and rescheduled events, but qualified as a team for the 2026 Class C Golf tournament this weekend in Grand Island. The Cardinals took to the course at Columbus for the Nebraska School Activities Association’s C-2 District Tournament, and put together a 355 team score, good enough for a Runner- Up plaque at the event.

The Newman Grove/St. Edward Panther track team traveled to Omaha’s Burke Stadium last Friday and Saturday to have two competitors do their best against a wide range of athletes from across the state.
