The NG/SE Lady Panthers hit a four-game winning streak since August 28. The team most recently defeated Palmer in a 2-0 game, Grand Island Lutheran on Sept.
Pullin’ for Patriots event held

The 2025 American Legion Post #73 Pulling for Patriots antique tractor pull was held Sunday, September 7th at the Newman Grove Fireman’s Park. A list of entries follows with those placing first, second or third.
Lions Club holds screenings

This past week the Newman Grove Lions Club conducted Sight and Hearing Screenings in the Albion, St. MIchael’s, and Newman Grove Public Schools.
Blood Drive picks up 50 units

The Newman Grove Red Cross blood drive was held on August 18, 2025, at Fellowship Bible Church. We had 49 donors collecting 50 units of blood with a goal of 52.
Grants available for trees in town

Reminder from the Newman Grove Tree Board: Citizens of Newman Grove have until September 30th to enter the tree grant drawing. Four $100.00 grants will be given.
