Big Give number totals continue rolling upward

During the 12th annual Boone County Big Give, 37 Boone County charitable organizations raised awareness and funds to support key projects. During December 1 through December 6, more than $426,000 was raised–bringing the 12-year total to just under $3.5 million raised for local charitable needs.

“Hats off for Kyle” great success

Two weeks ago, Newman Grove PreK–12 students showed their support in a fun and meaningful way—Hat Day! Students donated $2 each for the chance to wear their favorite hat, and together they raised funds to send a special care package to Kyle Eversole, who is currently deployed with the U.S. Army. “We are so proud of our students for stepping up and showing gratitude to someone serving our country.
