The Sheriff’s Office has received several complaints this school season of persons passing a school bus when the flashing stop arm and red lights are flashing. This applies to school busses loading and unloading at St.

During the 12th annual Boone County Big Give, 37 Boone County charitable organizations raised awareness and funds to support key projects. During December 1 through December 6, more than $426,000 was raised–bringing the 12-year total to just under $3.5 million raised for local charitable needs.

The Boone County Sheriff’s office introduced a new officer on social media last week, as Bo Dittmer joined the county police force. Dittmer recently moved to Boone County, and is originally from the Clarks area.

Two weeks ago, Newman Grove PreK–12 students showed their support in a fun and meaningful way—Hat Day! Students donated $2 each for the chance to wear their favorite hat, and together they raised funds to send a special care package to Kyle Eversole, who is currently deployed with the U.S. Army. “We are so proud of our students for stepping up and showing gratitude to someone serving our country.
