What is a “Wisker Disk” you say, well as you can see in the nearby photo fine copper wires the size of a sewing thread pass thru the “wiskers” to keep them from getting tangled, then the wire goes through the tensioner which is like the thread tensioner on a sewing machine to keep the fine wire snug while it is being wound on an armature. Both of these items are manufactured right here in Albion at Azonic Products Inc. by Wesley Buck and his crew. The items they build are being shipped around the world.

Boone County Health Center (BCHC) has announced that Keri Carraher, RN, Home Health Director, has been elected as a Director at Large on the Nebraska Home Care Association (NHCA) Board of Directors. Carraher, who earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK) and her Bachelor of Nursing degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC), has dedicated 20 years to BCHC.
